Where IS Homecoming?
It was set to release 29 days ago.
Yeah... about that.
I just want to state first: Homecoming IS still releasing. I delayed it silently due to some personal stuff and needing to focus on other priorities. Homecoming's new release date is currently TBD.
The reality is that creative projects like this take their toll. Writing and developing something this personal requires being in the right headspace, and lately I haven't been there. Rather than push through and deliver something half baked, I'd rather take the time to do it right.
I've also been juggling a couple other projects that needed attention, which pulled me away from Homecoming more than I anticipated. But the project isn't abandoned, just on pause while I sort things out.
What's Been Happening
Between work on other projects and general life stuff, I haven't made significant progress on Homecoming itself. I know that's not the update anyone wants to hear, but I'd rather be transparent about where things stand than make promises I can't keep.
The foundation is there. The story is mapped out. It's just a matter of finding the time and energy to bring it all together in a way that does it justice.
Moving Forward
That's all I've got for Homecoming today. I'll try to post a progression log every so often to keep you updated on where things are at.
